Bilingual Mandarin IT System Engineer

About The Role
Work Location: New York
We’re seeking a system engineer familiar with Microsoft systems, the cloud, and IT networks. They collaborate with sales and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address clients’ needs and are appropriately supported by vital technical decision-makers.
Day-to-day, You Will
- Answer to RFI/RFQ/RFP together with the Key Account Sales manager
- Proactively scopes the technical solution and the proposal required to address clients’ requirements, assesses clients met and unmet needs, and recommends optimum solutions, ensuring appropriate support for the proposed architecture.
- Collaborate with Product Vendors, Services providers, and clients to ensure the proposed solution can be delivered on time.
- IT and help desk support.
- If required, acts as a Project Manager for each deal to ensure the final solution is delivered towards the clients’ expectations and initial proposals.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows OS (though Windows 10), Active Directory, Exchange Admin, and Microsoft 365 migration experience is a plus.
- Azure/AWS knowledge.
- Knowledge and experience with SharePoint and OneDrive sync.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication.
- Proven experience as a Windows Administrator, Network Administrator.
- Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery.
- Knowledgeable in various Microsoft operating systems and platforms.
- Can troubleshoot problems quickly and effectively while diligently documenting work and following processes.
- College Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related discipline; professional Microsoft Certification is a plus.
- Strong experience in Windows, O365, Exchange, AD, SharePoint, and SCCM.
- Experience with virtualization environments.
- Working knowledge of networking: LAN/WAN/Wireless.
- Knowledge of computer maintenance, software and hardware support, and tool and hardware selection.
Minimum Qualification
- BS or master in computer science or communications.
- At least 3+ years of experience in CS and client-facing activities in a B2B environment.
- Technical solution expertise in a similar pre-sales /project manager role.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Desktop, Office 365, and VMWARE products.
- Microsoft Certifications, Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCIE will be in higher priority.
- Workplace, New York. Hybrid.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin would be preferred.
